Each unit in the three levels of the series targets the following areas of study:
Vocabulary: Each theme-based unit introduces words, phrases, and idioms frequently encountered on the test. The words and phrases chosen are useful in both written and spoken English. Words are recycled throughout the book. An expanded vocabulary enables students to understand a wide variety of material in English.
Grammar: Every unit provides information and practice activities for level-appropriate grammatical structures commonly seen on the TOEIC®. The grammar points featured in this series provide students with a solid foundation for developing English skills.
Listening: Helpful tips and strategies for listening questions with related practice activities are presented in each unit. Knowing how to listen is sometimes harder than the actual language students are hearing. These strategies sections help students build confidence in their listening skills.
Reading: Useful tips and strategies for approaching reading questions are provided in all three levels. Students will gain valuable knowledge which will help them tackle all three reading sections of the test.
7-Part Mini-Test: Each unit concludes with TOEIC® style practice questions for each of the seven sections of the TOEIC® Listening and Reading Test. This section provides extensive exposure to TOEIC® style questions.
Answer keys for all practice activities are located at the back of the book.
In addition, a full-length practice test at the end of each level provides students with the opportunity to practice taking the test under test conditions, while applying the knowledge they have gained by working through each book.
